Savannah Teens Organize Flip Flop Drop

Posted: Updated:
Savannah - Six Savannah teenagers are on a mission to offer hope in the form of flip flops for area homeless.  Each dollar donated translates into one pair of flip flops.  This provides not only shoes for the homeless, but assures clean shower conditions in area shelters.

Though their initial goal is for 1,000 pairs of flip flops, the community response has put them well on their way with $700 in donations.  That's already 700 pairs of shoes.  It's not too late!

The Flip Flop Drop runs from April 27 until May 11.
Send monetary donations to:
Flip Flop Drop
P.O. Box 16327
Savannah, GA 31416

The Flip Flop Drop is the work Ashley Ambos, Lily Kate Conneff, Oliver Howell, Brendan Mahoney, Daniel Mahoney and Megan Slatkovsky.
