UPDATE: Man Indicted in Connection with Bull Street Double Shooting

SAVANNAH, GA - UPDATE:

27-year-old Norman 'Jookie' Koonce Jr. has been indicted by a grand jury in connection to a double shooting on April 26th.

Koonce has been indicted on malice murder, 3 counts of felony murder, criminal attempt to commit a felony, armed robbery, 2 counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, 7 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by first offender probationer.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say they have arrested 27-year-old Norman 'Jookie' Koonce, Jr. of Savannah in connection to a double shooting on April 26th.

Koonce has been charged with murder, two counts of possession of a firearm by first offender, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say they are investigating a double shooting over the weekend that left a 16-year-old teen dead and a 23-year-old man hospitalized.

Police say Quahfee Murphy died after the Saturday shooting on Bull Street. Allen Moore, who lived in the house where the shooting took place, has been hospitalized following the incident.
