Dad pushes son down skateboard ramp; case investigated by family services

Posted: Updated:
JACKSONVILLE, FL - A father has been banned temporarily from a skateboard park while The Florida Department of Children and Families investigates a video of him pushing his son off a skateboard ramp.

The video went viral and many parents shared their anger about the incident at Kona Skatepark in Jacksonville.

The video, originally posted Friday by Ryan Stephens (Intsagram user @lilbubs) shows Marcus Crossland pushing his hesitant 6-year-old son down a skateboard ramp.

The father reportedly said he did it so his son can learn and the child was not injured.
