WAKE FOREST, N.C. -

Wake Forest police arrested two women Thursday after learning sexual favors were being provided at Bonnie Spa on Ligon Mill Road.

Police said Ying Zhou, 56, asked an undercover detective if they would like a sexual act performed in exchange for money at the massage parlor at 10421 Ligon Mill Road.

The detective declined the offer from Zhou but was able to obtain a warrant for her arrest after the interaction, police said. Zhou was arrested and charged with one count of prostitution and one count of performing a massage without a proper license.

She is being held at the Wake County Justice Center under $2,000 bond.

During the same investigation, Wake Forest police arrested 49-year-old Li Xiujin Shanghai. She was charged with one count of performing a massage without a proper license, according to police.

Shanghai is being held under a $1,000 bond.

Wake Forest police said the spa will not be allowed to operate as a massage parlor until it earns the correct licensing.
