From Armstrong Sports Information:

FLORENCE, S.C. - The third-seeded and No. 5-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University men's tennis team was declared the 2014 Peach Belt Conference tournament runner-up as rains cancelled the final day of action at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Tennis Center in Florence, S.C., on Saturday.
The top-seeded and No. 15-ranked Columbus State men's tennis team was crowned champion as the highest remaining seed is declared the winner if the tournament can not be completed due to weather. This snaps a streak of nine consecutive Peach Belt Conference tournament championships for the Armstrong men's tennis program.
Sophomore Jaan Kononov was named the 2014 PBC Tournament Singles MVP for going 2-0 in singles play during the weekend. Doubles MVPs were not named as many teams went 2-0 over the weekend.
Armstrong will now await word of a possible NCAA Tournament bid, to be announced on Tuesday, April 29th, at 8:00 p.m. on NCAA.com
