Chatham County Sheriff's Go Hollywood

Posted: Updated:
CHATHAM COUNTY, GA -

Chatham County Sheriff's want you.... to be the next deputy.

And they are going "Hollywood" to try and find their next recruit.

Friday was the last day of shooting for the Chatham county sheriff's recruitment video.

Its being produced for the sheriff's office by a film crew from SCAD.

It's a perfect match. Students get experience and the Sheriff's Office gets a professional quality video for almost no cost.

"Being students we don't really have a lot of money so its really cool," said Gabe Gilden, Director and SCAD Student. "The production value of this place its all here so we don't have to build any sets. We just use the spaces."

"A lot of people on the street just think we just run the jail," explained Chatham County Chief Deputy Roy Harris We have a lot of other functions in this community. We will see a lot in this video of what we do here. Hopefully excite somebody to want to do a job like that."

The video will be edited and shown in the next few weeks.
