UPDATE: 76th Fugitive Files Suspect Put Back Behind Bars

CHATHAM COUNTY, GA -

After months on the run, a wanted burglary and assault suspect is back behind bars.

Reginald Sanders has a criminal history dating back to 1991, and hadn't reported to probation since last year.

He was picked up Monday night in Savannah.

Sanders is the 76th Fugitive Files Suspect arrested after being profiled on News 3.

Reginald Sanders is a wanted man.

The 43 year old didn't show up for court date back in January - but that's hardly his first time in front of a judge.

"He's got a string of crime dating back to 1991," explained Deputy Ronald Brotz of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office. "ranging from aggravated assault to burglary to theft to a bunch of traffic charges."

Sanders is 5 foot 9 inches tall, 160 lbs and works out of town but could be in the sandfly area.

"You should come turn yourself in," said Brotz. "That way there will be no drama.. If you want drama, we can make drama."
