On Tuesday White Bluff Elementary School dedicated the naming of the school playground to former student Matthew Hayden Beasley.

Matthew was a special needs student at White Bluff Elementary. He lost his fight against Krabbe Disease in the form of leuko-dystrophy in July of last year.

The school says Matthew's wish was for an adapted swing that would give him the ability to spend more time outdoors. The playground at White Bluff Elementary will serve as a tribute to his memory so that other 'special kids' can enjoy the pleasure of playing and swinging outdoors.
