Fake Netflix Scam Fake Netflix Scam
The Better Business Bureau said con artists claiming to work for Netflix are trying to get money and private information from unsuspecting victims.

Many Netflix customers have received an email or pop-up ad that directed them to a fake Netflix login page. The page then gives customers an 800 number to call.

The number calls con artists, posing as Netflix tech support, and they ask customers to allow them remote access into the customers' computers.

The scammers have also asked for customers credit card information.

The Better Business Bureau said this particular website has been shut down but warned people the same scammers could set up a new site that works the same way.

Netflix said it uses various methods to protect its members from cyber criminals.
