BIRMINGHAM, AL - Authorities have released the cause of death for a woman found stuffed in a plastic storage container in a Birmingham alley Sunday.

A friend was hauling the tub out of an apartment belonging to the suspect killer that morning when he opened it and found the body of 61 year-old Patricia McCain of Morris.

The alley was located in the 1500 block of 15th Street South.

Charles Jordan, 38, has been arrested in the case.

Investigators believe Jordan strangled McCain after a fight on March 7, meaning the body was kept in the storage box for several weeks.
