Richmond Hill H.S. Hires Eads as Football Coach

Josh Eads Josh Eads

Richmond Hill has hired Josh Eads to be the Wildcats new head football coach.  Eads replaces Lyman Guy who left to coach at Toombs County High School.

Eads was an offensive assistant last season, his first at Richmond Hill.  The Wildcats went 10-2 and lost in the second round of the GHSA playoffs.

"I'm very excited to be able to take over an up-and-coming program... to be able to work for a year under Coach Guy and take this to the next level with the program and the community is exciting," says Eads.

Josh Eads previously coached at Paulding County High School prior to coming to the Wildcats program.  He has also coached at Hiram High School, Campbell High School and Tift County High School.

This will be his first head coaching position.  The 40-year-old Eads is married with two boys.  He played college football at North Alabama and in high school at Brandon High School in Florida.
