Posted: Updated:
DURHAM, N.C. -

A teacher from Durham Academy earned enough votes to advance to the next round in a national competition for her rendition of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.

Elizabeth South is now one of 10 finalists in Ryan Seacrest’s March Music Madness competition.

South teaches music and drama at Durham Academy. She was selected for the competition based on the number of views her video received on YouTube.

The winner will be announced on April 11.
