SCAD Lady Bees Continue to Sting on the Lacrosse Field

The SCAD Lady Bees continue their winning ways on the lacrosse field.  Currently the Lady Bees are 9-0 and seeking their 3rd straight National Women's Lacrosse League title.

SCAD is ranked #1 in the latest NWLL weekly poll.  It's the fourth week the ladies are at the top.

 

RELEASE FROM SCAD:

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Lady Bees remain in the top spot for the fourth straight week. The Lady Bees finished the week 1-0 after defeating the University of Tampa 11-9. After the victory the Lady Bees record improved to 9-0 on the season. The Lady Bees travel to St. Andrews on March 29th for their fifth conference game of the season.

Davenport University remains in the second spot after finishing the week 4-0. The Lady Panthers picked up wins over Oklahoma Baptist, Aquinas College, Urbana University, and Siena Heights. Currently the Lady Panthers are 4-0 in conference play and 9-0 overall.

Indiana Tech continues in the third position. Robert Morris finished the week 4-0 and remained in the fourth spot. The Lady Eagles picked up wins over Midland University, Missouri Baptist, Oklahoma Baptist, and Lindenwood – Belleville. In the four victories the Lady Eagles outscored their opponents 73-13. Reinhardt University moved up one spot in this week's poll. The Lady Eagles finished the week 2-1 after picking up victories over Midland University and Columbia College. In their lone loss of the week the Lady Eagles fell to Converse College 15-9. The Lady Eagles currently have an overall record of 9-3 and a conference record of 5-1.

The NWLL Coaches' Top 10 Poll is compiled from the weekly votes among the NWLL coaches.
