Mother Asking for Helping Finding Her Son's Killer

SAVANNAH, GA -

"There's gotta be something. I want to know the answer and I want to be relieved. I want to be at peace."

Those were the words of grieving mother Vivian Martin two years ago.

She is still waiting for answers to the questions of what happened to her son.

Larry Wingster was found lying next to a barrel fire in a field off Billings road back in 2009.

He had been shot several times.

His killer has not been found.

Since then Wingster's mother has moved to Savannah and held several candlelight vigils, have been held in his honor, and in hope someone will come forward to help.

The description Savannah-Chatham Metro Police gave five years ago of the suspect described him as a dark complexioned black man, 5'9" weighing between 150 and 200 pounds with shoulder length dreads and might have been driving a late '90's tan-colored sedan.

If you have any information that could help police solve this crime - please call Savannah-Chatham Metro Police or Crimestoppers at 912-234-2020.
