FPCA Boys Fall, Bulloch Academy Girls Win State Title

Bulloch Academy Lady Gators Bulloch Academy Lady Gators

First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys fell short 60-57 Saturday evening in the Georgia Independent School Association Class AA State Championship game at Mercer University in Macon.

The Lady Gators of Bulloch Academy captured the Class AAA Championship with a 46-29 win over Stratford Academy

Miguel Pineda scored 23 points to lead all scorers for FPCA, who were seeking the title that eluded them last season under head coach Ernie Walthour.  Shane Smith took over the team after the death of Coach Ernie and led the Highlanders back to the championship game.

The Lady Gators captured Bulloch Academy's first state title, winning over Stratford in Macon.
