COLUMBUS, Ga. -
Registration for the Muscogee County pre-kindergarten program is expected to begin later this month.
Pending Board of Education approval on March 17, the application forms would be available at all area elementary schools beginning at March 19.
Anyone can pickup a form but in order to get a child registered, a guardian must present the following documents to the school district on verification day: -Verification of child's date of birth -Child's social security card -Proof of address of parent or legal guardian.
Acceptance to the program is based on available funding and space. Priority will be given to students living in the school attendance zone and to applications submitted during the month of March.
