SAVANNAH, GA -

The hit TV show The Vampire Diaries paid tribute to Sarah Jones at the beginning of Thursday night's episode on the CW.

The tribute included a picture of Sarah over music from the Titanic soundtrack.

The text read, "This memorial is dedicated to Sarah Jones who tragically lost her life. The film industry will forever mourn her death. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. IN LOVING MEMORY OF SARAH JONES. 1986-2014."

Jones was a camera assistant and had previously worked on The Vampire Diaries.

Jones, 27, was killed last Thursday when she was struck by a train while filming near Jesup.

She was part of the crew that was working on "Midnight Rider," a biopic about Gregg Allman.

Production has been suspended in the wake of her death.

It's unknown when or if filming will start again.
