James Moody

Savannah born AltoSaxophonist James Moody would create one of the classic songs of American music- Moody's Mood for Love, which was an improvisation. Moody, who grew up inNewark, NJ, started playing the saxophone at the age of 16. He played withDizzy Gillespie and Milt Jackson just to name a few. Moody would later in appearin the film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
