Lumberton man found shot to death in apartment

LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) - The Lumberton Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a murder suspect.

According to a press release, officers were called Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. to reported "shots fired" at an apartment on Lee Circle.

When officers arrived they found Deonte Bethea, 20, of Lumberton dead from a gun shot wound.

He was inside the apartment, the release stated. There were no known witnesses.
