Fire destroys home in Manteo

MANTEO, N.C. - A families home is destroyed after a fire in Manteo.

The Fire Marshal says it happened around 8 o'clock Friday night, on 115 Airport Rd.

No one was at the home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The family who lives in the home stayed with relatives Friday night.

The Fire Marshal says they don't suspect there to be any foul play involved, but the cause of the fire is still undetermined.

It took crews approximately 45 minutes to extinguish the fire.
