The man police were seeking for leaving a dog in a home for months is facing charges.

Jonathan Jenson, who lives on Fort Stewart according to his booking sheet, is facing one count of animal cruelty for leaving the pit bull named "Juicy" trapped inside the Hinesville home

Liberty County Animal Control was able to rescue Juicy after a neighbor called to report seeing the dog in one of the home's windows.

Juicy was severely malnourished and only weighed 39 pounds when the normal weight is 70.

Animal Control says there were bags of open food strewn around the residence.  He said she had been adopted from a Savannah shelter last year by a couple who had a newborn.  She proved too rambunctious to be around the infant, so the family gave the dog to a friend.

Juicy will be returned to the Savannah Shelter where she will be fostered and returned back to health.
