UPDATE: Fatality confirmed in 3 car crash on Highway 21

Highway 21 in Port Wentworth is back open after a fatal wreck closed the southbound lanes on Wednesday morning.

Georgia State Patrol has confirmed a fatality in this morning's 3 car crash on Highway 21 near the intersection of I-95.

News 3 has confirmed that Highway 21 south in Port Wentworth is closed this morning at the intersection of I-95.

The three car accident has forced police to open up the northbound lanes to traffic in both directions.

Drivers are urged to find another route.
