Savannah State Sweep for Red-Hot Tigers

It was a Monster Monday for Savannah State University.  The men's basketball team improving to 5-0 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference while the women's team won its 7th home game out of 7 this season.

The evening started with Ezinne Kalu scoring 25 points to lead the Lady Tigers past Florida A&M 80-68.  Tiyonda Davis scored 14 while Jasmine Norman pitched in with 12 and Jasmine Kirkland with 11.

The Lady Tigers improve to 4-1 in the MEAC.

 

The men's game featured the Tigers knocking off Florida A&M to improve to 5-0 in the MEAC.  Deven Williams, Joshua Montgomery and Terel Hall led the way in scoring with 20, 17 and 13 points respectively.
