Port Wentworth Police now say the woman found dead Saturday is the victim of a homicide.

On Saturday, at 8:18 a.m. police went to a house on Fox Glenn Ct. on a call of an unresponsive woman.

Police found Lisa Pynn, 33, dead in the master bedroom.

Police Chief Matt Libby said autopsy results that came back Tuesday revealed it was a homicide.

Chief Libby did not go into details about what the autopsy showed.

Pynn leaves behind a 6 year old child and a soldier husband who was deployed in Afghanistan at the time.

Port Wentworth police have no suspects in this case and need the public's help.

Port Wentworth Police say a 35 year old woman was found dead in her home this morning at 117 Fox Glen Ct in Port Wentworth.

Police remained on the scene late into the evening investigating the cause. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is assisting police at this time.

Police say they cannot yet rule it a homicide, as they are still unsure of the cause of death.
