HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -

William Morriszie Fuller (33), who is also known as Willie James, was arrested early Wednesday morning on the North end of Hilton Head Island and charged with three counts of Forgery, one count of Shoplifting, and one count of 2nd degree Attempted Burglary.

Investigators say Fuller forged three checks that were stolen from the home of an acquaintance last month.

Those checks were made out to Fuller and totaled more than $1,500, authorities said.

On January 12th, investigators say Fuller stole five cartons of cigarettes worth $269 from a CVS Pharmacy on Pope Avenue.

And two days after that, Fuller allegedly tried to burglarize H&H Auto on Hunter Road by throwing a large rock through the front window.

Authorities say Fuller was caught on surveillance tape in both the CVS and H&H incidents.

Fuller is known to frequent various residences in Cordillo Courts and is known to ride a beach cruiser style bicycle.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Sgt. L. Albertin at 843-255-3413 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
