Police searching for 2 suspects in Williams Rd shooting

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Columbus police are asking the public's to help identify two shooting suspects connected with a January 2nd shooting on Williams Road, according to a Columbus Police Department news release.

Brandon King, 26, is wanted for aggravated assault, criminal damage and has outstanding warrants in connection with the shooting. King is listed at 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds.

Stephen Smith, 28, is wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is described as a 6-foot-3 white man, and weighs about 240 pounds. Police say Smith is considered to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
