SPRINGFIELD, GA -

A new trial date has been set in the case against Kimberly Moretz.  A jury was chosen in Effingham County Superior Court on Thursday.  Trial is set to begin on February 5th.

Moretz is charged with concealing the death of a Wilmington Island man last January.  35 year old Charlie Ray's family had reported him missing from Wilmington Island several weeks prior to the discovery of Ray's body in the Moretz home.

Moretz's husband, Chad Moretz was ultimately deemed the murderer. Moretz was shot and killed after a standoff with police at his home in Rincon. After the standoff, the death of Ray was discovered when authorities entered the home. They said some body parts were found in the home and later other parts were found in a locker in South Carolina that had been rented by Kim Moretz.

Kimberly Moretz had her bond revoked in August after she traveled to Florida against Judge's orders and therefore violated the conditions of her bond.
