Rodney Scott is wanted by Chatham County Sheriff's for violating his probation Rodney Scott is wanted by Chatham County Sheriff's for violating his probation
CHATHAM COUNTY, GA -

Rodney Scott is 43 years old, a registered sex offender, and no stranger to the law.

"He has a history of violence, domestic violence in the past, simple battery, battery," explains Investigator Alicyn Whatley of the Chatham County Sheriff's Department. "So he's a danger to the community."

Scott was convicted of aggravated assault with intent to rape in 2002, but according to Chatham County Sheriff's that didn't stop his criminal activity, or end his arrest record.

"There's no telling what he's out there doing or if he's out there committing more crimes," said Whatley. "You never know."

What they do know is that Scott has not reported to his probation officer for 2 months, and now is wanted man.

"We think he may be in the Garden City area," said Investigator Whatley. "Specifically 4309 Augusta road area. Also Big Hill Road."

If you can help Investigators catch Rodney Scott - call Chatham County Sheriff's or Crimestoppers right away.

Their number is (912) 234-2020.

And if Rodney Scott is watching.

"Its in the best interest for you if you would just turn yourself in," said Whatley.

A Florida beach cleared out – with the exception of a woman and lifeguard who tried to save her – when a shark was spotted heading straight toward swimmers on Tuesday afternoon. The panic of the 10-foot shark and people screaming from the pier was caught on tape.
