CHATHAM COUNTY, GA -

The case against a woman accused in a deadly hit and run over the Thanksgiving holiday is on its way to superior court.

Jessica Krebs was arrested back in November.

Police say she went to two different bars the night of November 27th before getting in her car and hitting 35 year old Jonathan Edwards as he walked on Johnny Mercer Blvd approaching Turner's Creek Bridge.

At Wednesday's arraignment hearing, investigators said Krebs admitted to having two glasses of wine at the Flying Fish, then went to the Crow Bar where she had two beers.

She then went home and called police, saying her car had been vandalized.

Officers found her car windshield shattered, extensive front end damage to her car, and the hood sunken in.

When police asked Krebs that night how she got home, and if she drove, investigators say Krebs answered that she "hoped she didn't drive home."

They also testified that Krebs speech was slurred, she had red bloodshot eyes, and was unstable on her feet.

Officers also found fragments of glass from the windshield on Krebs shirt and pants.

Police say Krebs also had a blood alcohol level of .20 that night.

Her case was held over to Superior Court.

Jessica Krebs is being held in the Chatham County Jail without bond.
