Pry Tells WSAV He's Thankful for Consideration as GSU Football Coach

Vanderbilt co-Defensive Coordinator Brent Pry has decided to remain with head coach James Franklin and Vanderbilt.

Reached by phone early this afternoon, Pry says he's very grateful for the interest and has the utmost respect for Georgia Southern football and Eagle Nation, but he believes it's in his best interest for him and his family to stay put.

Pry was scheduled to fly to Statesboro to officially interview for the job Tuesday.
