Fire Destroys Homes Of Two Lowcountry Families

BEAUFORT, S.C. -

The American Red Cross is assisting two families who were displaced after their homes were destroyed last night by fire.  The organization says a family of 4 adults and 2 children lost their home at 311 Martin Avenue in Estill, and another family of 2 adults lost their home at 91 Trafk Farm Road in Beaufort.  The Red Cross provided both families with financial assistance for lodging, food and clothing and referrals to partnering agencies for long-term recovery assistance.
