ROANOKE, VA -
A well know veteran will get a special tribute this weekend.
We're told a flyover is planned at the burial of World War II veteran Bill Overstreet who died Sunday. He's known for flying under the Eiffel Tower, chasing a German aircraft.
Two P51 Mustangs, the plane he flew, are expected over the grave site.
The planes are coming from North Carolina and West Virginia.
Overstreet spent time with one of the plane's pilots in 2012 when a group of Roanoke 8th Air Force Fellowship veterans had a birthday party for him and then got a personal flight demo.
The visitation is today from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oakey's Funeral Home in Roanoke.
The burial is tomorrow at Evergreen Burial Park at 1 p.m. The memorial service follows at 2 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church.
They're asking people to wear red and yellow, the squadron's colors.
