Sources: Pry Interviews for GSU Job, Jasper Next

WSAV has learned that former Georgia Southern defensive coordinator Brent Pry has interviewed for the GSU head coaching position.  WSAV first reported Tuesday that Pry has all the credentials, and interest in filling the position vacated by Jeff Monken, who left for Army.

Sports Radio 102.1's Seth Harp has confirmed that Pry has interviewed with GSU Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein.  Harp also reports that Navy offensive coordinator Ivan Jasper will interview for the head coaching position this weekend.  A second Military source has confirmed Jaspers interest in the position and scheduled interview.

Pry coached the defense in Statesboro in 2010 before moving on to Vanderbilt.  He's currently the linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator with the Commodores.
