BUTNER, N.C. -

Police are looking for a juvenile from Robeson County after he failed to report back to the C.A. Dillon Youth Development Center in Butner on Thursday afternoon after a home visit.

The juvenile is identified as Ryan L. and was last seen Thursday at 4:10 p.m. on Resa Loop Road, Highway 41 in Lumberton.  The Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice has notified local law enforcement and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

In a news release, the Department of Public Safety said that due to the unpredictability of juvenile behavior, division officials have a "high degree of concern for the safety of both the juvenile and the public."

The department released a photoof the juvenile to help the public identify him.
