WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA (WJHL) - 16 year-old Chelsea Puckett who left home close to a week ago has been found. 

Washington County, VA investigators say Chelsea did not contact her family over Christmas and her cell phone was turned off as well as her Facebook page was deactivated, prompting the search.

Her grandfather, Virginia State Police Sr. Trooper R.W. Addison, has legal custody of her.

The case is being turned over the Washington County, VA Sheriff's Office.
