House catches fire in Smithfield early Wednesday morning

SMITHFIELD, N.C. -

A house caught fire early Wednesday morning on South 6th Street in Smithfield, according to officials.

Fire and EMS were dispatched from Selma and Four Oaks at approximately 6 a.m.

Multiple people were in the home at the time of the fire, but everyone made it out and no injuries have been reported.

Authorities said three people were displaced by the fire.

No further details were released.
