RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Carolina Hurricanes have partnered with First Night Raleigh, and fans attending the Dec. 31 game at PNC Arena against the Montreal Canadiens will be able to access all First Night events.

The Canes have traditionally played on New Year's Eve, and the game has been popular with fans. But it also happens the same night as Raleigh's First Night, which has grown through the years.

The Canes announced Wednesday morning that they have partnered with Artsplosure, the presenter of First Night Raleigh, this year.

Fans with a ticket for the Dec. 31 game can pick up a wristband from the PNC Arena box office that will allow access to all First Night events.

First Night begins at 2 p.m. and runs through the fireworks at midnight.

The wristband also will be available in the concourse at Section 108 during the game.
