Digital Petting Zoo to Feature E-Readers, Tablets and More

Posted: Updated:

Auburn, Ala. - Holiday shoppers planning to purchase an e-reader, tablet, or MP3 player will benefit from the Auburn Public Library's "Digital Petting Zoo" on Thursday, December 12 at 2:30 p.m. A number of devices will be featured including a Kindle Paperwhite, a Nook Simple Touch, and a Kobo Glo. Library staff will demonstrate how these and other devices work, and participants will receive hands-on experience to help select the best device for family and friends, or even for oneself. It's also a great opportunity to learn how to use a library card to access e-books and other downloadable media through the Library's website.

This service is made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Auburn Public Library. Please call 501-3190 for more information about this event. To learn more about the Auburn Public Library, please visit www.auburnalabama.org/library.
