COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Columbus Police Fraud Department and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in finding several individuals suspected of theft throughout the area.

On Wednesday October 30, 2013, Police responded to the report of a lost wallet.  The victim stated that when she got home from Walmart on Airport Thruway, she realized that her wallet was not in her purse. The wallet contained multiple Credit Cards, Driver's License and other miscellaneous cards.

The victim had used one of the cards at Walmart prior to discovering it missing.  Investigators viewed the surveillance video and observed an unknown white male, shaved head, goatee, approximately 5'9" tall and 170 pounds, take the wallet and conceal it.  The suspect walked out of the store and got into an unknown black four door sedan with an unknown tag.

Further Investigations revealed additional charges on the stolen credit cards were made within hours of each other, at several locations on Manchester Expressway.

The next day, October 31st, a white female went to the Dollar General on Amber Drive and attempted to use one of the stolen credit cards, but the card had been flagged  by the bank.  The white female then handed several cards to the cashier and left in a Black Kia with a dealer tag.

If your information leads to an arrest and indictment, you could receive a reward of up to $1000.00, and you do not have to give your name. You will be given a number for identification.

There are numerous ways to report crime anonymously. All information is sent through an encrypted hub and forwarded to an Investigator.
