Winn-Dixie looking to hire in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Winn-Dixie is holding several job fairs to accept applications and conduct on-site interviews for positions at Columbus Winn-Dixie's.

The job fairs are Wednesday, December 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

  • 1627 South Lumpkin Road
  • 6770 Veterans Parkway
  • 4231 Macon Road
  • 5750 Milgen Road
  • 1100 Hunt Avenue

Winn-Dixie is recruiting for all store positions from entry-level to management including cashiers, baggers, deli, bakery, grocery, dairy, meat and seafood departments, and manager-level positions.     A 62-year-old Chambers County man was arrested on two counts of Sexual Abusecharges. Authorities with the Chambers County Sheriff's Office say Johnny Bolt, of Five Points, walked into the sheriff's office this week and confessed to sexually abusing a family member under the age of 12. They say he was arrested Thursday and made bond that same day.
