Trio of Teams Still Fighting for State Titles

Benedictine, Calvary and Wayne County each still alive in the GHSA State Playoffs.  Each in a different classification.  WSAV-TV will have previews all week on the trio heading to state-semifinal games.

All games Friday at 7:30pm.

 

GHSA CLASS A (Private)

*Calvary (10-2) at Eagles Landing Christian Academy (11-0)

*First semifinal appearance for the Cavs since 1983 (GISA).

 

GHSA Class AA

*Benedictine (13-0) at Lamar County (13-0)

*First semifinal appearance for the Cadets since 1978.

 

GHSA Class AAAA

*Wayne County (11-2) at Griffin (13-0)

*First semifinal appearance for the Yellow Jackets since 1976.
