Fans, Studio Stunned By Paul Walker’s Death

Actor Paul Walker's publicist has confirmed that the actor best known for starring in the Fast and Furious  movie franchise was killed in a fiery auto crash on Saturday afternoon.

H e was 40 years old. Walker's publicist put up a post on Facebook on Saturday evening. The post said Walker was the passenger in a friend's car at the time of the crash. Authorities still have yet to confirm that point.  The wreck happened around 3:30 Pacific time. Both Walker's and his friend's body were found in Porsche Carrera GT after the car fire was extinguished.  They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The movie studio Walker worked for also released a statement: " All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us."
