RALEIGH, N.C. -

Last week America came out in support of Kat Robichaud, saving her through a dramatic, last minute Instant Save via Twitter.

This week, she hopes to make the people who saved her proud.

"I want everybody to feel like they made the right decision in saving me," Kat said Monday.

Kat gave a fierce performance of AWOLNATION's "Sail" last week, going so far as to leap into the audience for some impromptu crowd surfing. The move was a first for the competition; and, rightfully so, made the coaches squirm in their big red chairs.

The performance was so impressive, Kat said she believes there was an assumption she would be safe.

"I think a lot of people didn't think it was important to vote because they thought everybody else would be [voting]," Kat said.

"A lot of people said online, 'Her performance was good enough, I don't need to vote for her, she'll be safe.' And lo and behold, I was not."

The Concord native landed in the bottom three, leaving it up to the newly introduced Instant Save to choose who would prove on to the Top 10.

The Instant Save window was open for five minutes while fans tweeted "#VoiceSave" along with the name of the artist they wanted to save.

Kat stood on stage with teammate Jonny Gray and Team Christina's Josh Logan. Ultimately it was Kat who would move on to compete in the Top 10.

"There's pressure every week, and everybody is under pressure and certainly if you want to be here," Kat said. "The only thing that I can do is work really hard and be myself.

"I can't do anything else besides that and just be really proud of what I've accomplished."
