AUBURN, Ala. -

Fans are flocking to Auburn from around the country for the big game against Georgia.

Thousands of tailgaters and hundreds of RV's are filling up the city of Auburn. Although there's a big rivalry between the teams, fans say there's no animosity amongst them, and it's all about the experience.

"We're friends with everybody," says UGA fan Barton Cartey. "It's just a ball game. After the ball game is over, we're all supposed to be friends."

Waldo Williamson, an Auburn fan, says, "People just get together and socialize and have a good time."

Both Georgia and Auburn are well-represented for the tailgate. The superfans say camping out for games is a lifestyle. Many have put tens of thousands of dollars into their set-up.

"I work pretty hard," says Auburn fan Mike Brown, "so we make it a point to try to do some things to give us a little escape from that, so that's why it's important to us."

"Georgia lights, Georgia tablecloths, Georgia chairs, Georgia all decorated inside," says Cartey. "If you're a Georgia fan you've got to be all the way."

The tailgaters have fun, but there's still a healthy rivalry. Auburn police are prepared for the weekend just in case there's trouble. Police cruisers are on constant patrol to make sure the big game goes smoothly.

For now, everyone is having a good time and representing their team.

If you're planning on attending the game, Auburn officials want to remind you to be on the lookout for counterfeit tickets. You can ask questions at the ticket tents set up around the stadium.

If you don't have a game ticket, you can watch the action for free on big screens at Auburn Arena, on WRBL News 3 or on WRBL.com beginning at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
