YOUNGSVILLE, N.C. -

A Youngsville man is charged with online human trafficking, according to Wake County officials.

A warrant for Jeffrey Botellio's arrest was issued Nov. 8, and multiple electronic devices were seized.

According to authorities, a officer with the Washington Child Exploitation Task Force contacted a Raleigh police detective Aug. 6 about a juvenile who had run away from a juvenile home.

The juvenile was located in Raleigh Aug. 7. The girl said Botellio had organized logistics for her to engage in prostitution, including setting up Internet ads.

On Aug. 9, his residence in Youngsville was searched, and authorities said they found photos of the girl that were used for Internet ads.
