Pooler Burglary Suspect Arrested, Guns and Drugs Seized

Posted: Updated:

A Savannah man connected with a house burglary in Pooler earlier this month is in jail facing a list of charges.

The Pooler Police Department says valuable items, including a high-end Rolex watch and a large number of guns were stolen from the home.  During a joint investigation with the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT), Pooler officials identified Breyon "Breezy" Gibbs as a potential suspect.

A search of the 21-year-old's suspected residence Thursday afternoon in the 1900 block of East DeRenne Avenue uncovered the stolen Rolex, cocaine and marijuana with an estimated street value of nearly $4,500, plus items commonly used in the distribution of controlled substances, and 19 stolen firearms, including the ones taken from the Pooler residence.

CNT agents arrested Gibbs on the spot. He's being held in the Chatham County Detention Center on numerous felony-related charges including: 19-counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm), Trafficking Cocaine, and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. .
