HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -

Two Bluffton teens are in jail, awaiting bond hearings. Beaufort County deputies arrested them Wednesday in connection with the October 20th armed robbery of a Hilton Head movie theater owner.

The robbery happened at Northridge Cinema 10. Investigators say 18-year-old Jacklyn Marie Perez drove 19-year-old Austin Lewis McQuarters to the theater knowing full well that he intended to commit the robbery.

McQuarters is accused of assaulting John Snodgrass in the parking lot near his car. Investigators say he knocked 56-year-old Snodgrass unconscious, took his deposit bag, which held more than $4,000 dollars, and then got back in the car and left the area with Perez.

McQuarters faces one count of Armed Robbery and one count of 1st degree Assault and Battery, while Perez faces one count of Armed Robbery.
