WALTHOURVILLE, GA -

 

UPDATE 7:30 p.m.

Walthourville Police Chief Tracy McFadden tells WSAV that Gross has been found safe and is in good health.

He says the girl was found by Long County Law Enforcement close to her home.

So far there's no word on where she was found or where she had been.

The Walthourville Police Department is searching for a missing child. Tyletta Gross, 12, was last seen November 5 at 15:45 in the area of Shaw Rd and Sabreena Circle in Walthourville.

She was last seen on foot walking towards Hinesville.

Tyletta Gross is 5'4" tall weighing 180 LBS, with black braided hair and was last seen wearing a school uniform blue pants, blue shirt and a blue sweater.

Search dogs and special search teams have been assembled to assist.
