Twenty One People Arrested In Prostitution Investigation

Seven women and thirteen men were arrested after a 2 day operation investigating Prostitution in Savannah and surrounding areas.   Police say the suspects were customers of a web site called BackPage.com. Investigators say they operated out of several Hotels and Motels along Interstate 95 from the Highway 204 exit in Savannah through Pooler, Garden City and Port Wentworth. 

   Undercover Operatives arranged dates with women advertising on the web site and Officers pretending to be Prostitutes set up meeting with men looking to pay for sex. They met at some of the hotels and motels in question.

Arrested for prostitution were November McCallum, 23, of Pennsylvania; Onyx M. Eley, 22, of Virginia; Brittany P. Brown, 23, Hickory, NC.; Lindsey M. Blackburn, 23, Richmond Hill; Shadona L. Scott, 25, Tampa, FL.;  Altricesa V. Rosser, 25, Atlanta; and Brenda L. Carr, 23, Orlando, FL.  Scott also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. It was her second arrest by Metro Police. Rosser also was charged with battery and possession of marijuana.  And Carr also was charged with possession of marijuana and bribery.

 Charged with pimping was Johnathan L. Turner, who was arrested for the second time by Metro police.

 The following people were charged with pandering, Corie D. Jackson, Alonzo N. Lyford, Yousef Issa, Brian Edwards, Craig Jackson, Nicholas R. Salentine, Alan Ramjattan,  Jonathan Pfuhi, Viren Patel, Noe Cruz Lopez, Joseph K. Erlach, Christopher Dankowski, and Richard M. Bourgeois.
