The National Weather Service Has Issued A Coastal Flood Advisory... Which Is In Effect Through 11 Am Est This Morning.

Location... Coastal Areas Of Southeast Georgia... Including Tybee Island... Ossabaw Island... Wassaw Island... Saint Catherines Island And Sapelo Island. Coastal Portions Of Jasper And Beaufort Counties... Including Hunting Island... Fripp Island... Hilton Head Island And Daufuskie Island… And Coastal Portions Of Colleton County.

Tide Levels... Tides Will Peak 9.1 To 9.4 Ft Mean Lower Low Water At Fort Pulaski With High Tide This Morning. High Tide Will Occur At Fort Pulaski Around 854 Am. Tide Levels Capable Of Producing Shallow Salt Water Flooding Will Occur 1 To 2 Hours Before And After The High Tide.

Tide Impacts... Inundation Of Saltwater In And Near Low-Lying Coastal Areas Could Lead To Some Road Closures During The Morning Rush Hour And Could Produce Flooding Of Properties.

Be Prepared For The Possibility Of Road Closures And Minor Flooding Of Properties. If Travel Is Necessary... Do Not Attempt To Drive Through Water Of Unknown Depth.
